Preparation: How to drain yogurt

The amount of yogurt can be reduced by half, by draining its water content for a half day to overnight. Place a sheet of paper towel or a clean cloth in a strainer, and pour plain yogurt onto it. Then keep it refrigerated for a half day or so. Placing a weight on top can shorten the draining time.

*The water content released by the yogurt is whey, which is also highly nutritious. So don’t throw it away; use it to cook other dishes.

*The product appearing in the video is in its former package, which is different from the current design.
